Professional Development Units and Licensing

Oregon licensed teachers are required to earn professional development units towards license renewal.  Please review Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices Commission licensing renewal for information and guidelines on this process.  If you hold a substitute teaching license or a restricted substitute teaching license you are not required to earn PDUs per the Adoption of temporary rules. 

We do not receive notice of renewed licenses from TSPC.  It is the responsibility of the substitute to notify us and provide a copy when a new license or renewal is issued.
